SONAS Bathrooms has a great history in the bathroom products industry, so it’s vital for them to think of new innovative ways to keep their customers engaged with their products. From social media posts, to TV adverts they’ve done it all, so their next venture was to dive into the world of interior design and social media influencers.
“SONAS Bathrooms are experts in bathrooms so we decided to reach out to experts in their interior design fields to speak to our customers about what is trending in bathrooms and how to create a particular look,” said Breda Kelliher, Sales and Marketing Operations Manager.
“It was difficult to narrow down who we were going to team up with. There are so many talented interior designers in Ireland, we were spoiled for choice”.
GWEN KENNY Gwen Kenny, from Divine Designs, was the first interior designer they reached out to. SONAS and Gwen Kenny teamed up for a series of Bathroom Design Classes in 2019. These classes were created to help end user customers get some professional help with bathroom design.
Breda continues, “We started working with Gwen last year for our Bathroom Design Classes and found that our design outlooks complimented each other. Gwen has a great reputation in the interior design world and really focuses on making a room work for your needs. She has really helpful design tips and we have all the product knowledge, so bringing her on-board for the classes was a definite win for SONAS and our customers.”
ALANNAH MONKS SONAS also teamed up with Alannah Monks, from The Abode Stylist. SONAS and Alannah – who was a participant on RTE’s Home of the Year – engaged with each other on the subject of saving space and enhancing storage in the bathroom. Alannah chose her favourite SONAS pieces around how to best utilise the space available to the consumer and identified the common mistakes in designing a bathroom.
NATASHA ROCCA DEVINE Natasha Rocca Devine was the latest interior designer SONAS teamed up with. Founder of The Interiors NRD Studio, Natasha is a well established designer and popular on social media. Natasha is a specialist in staging and styling glamorous showhouses for residential and commercial developments so she was a perfect choice to talk about luxury in the bathroom.
“It was great having Natasha come into our showroom and talk her through our products,” said Breda Kelliher. “Natasha picked out some fabulous products to highlight on social media.
“Our experience with each of these designers was definitely a positive one and it was really great to see our customers engage with us on social media afterwards.”
Working with these interior designers – all experts in their fields – has emphasised to the company the importance of keeping up to date on the latest bathroom trends while also keeping the practical considerations in mind.
“Our experience with each of these designers was definitely a positive one and it was really great to see our consumers engage with us on social media afterwards.”
